Learn to Bowl

If you are interested in learning to play bowls, please call the club to arrange a time to have an initial trial session with Alan Petchell, our Coaching Co-ordinator. Rossmoyne Bowling Club coaches are qualified and have been accredited by Bowls Australia.

Coaching lessons are held at times suitable for both parties.

Students from Rossmoyne Senior High School, Willetton Senior High School and Rossmoyne Primary School attend sessions as part of their Physical Education programs.

This is a short video, produced by Bowls Australia, about the ‘basics’ of Lawn Bowls. The five-minute video explains the details of delivery and scoring, providing new players with concise and consistent information and the foundations to start enjoying the sport of bowls.
