Sunday, 11 July 2021 Restrictions Lifted

The Government has announced a lifting of all the existing COVID restrictions as of 12:01am Monday 12th July 2021.
Therefore, effective Monday 12th July 2021 (tomorrow) the Rossmoyne Bowling Club returns to ‘normal’:

  1. Masks are no longer required to be worn inside and outside. 
  2. No capacity limits, the Club returns to our licensed capacity of 350 people (170 in the bar area and 180 in the hall).
  3. Members and visitors continue to utilize the ‘SafeWA’ app or complete the manual Contact Tracing register, when entering the Club.  
  4. The Club will continue to maintain our daily cleaning regime. 

If you are feeling unwell, please consider your fellow members, and stay home and consider getting tested.

Thank you all for your assistance over the past 16 months to keep the Club safe.

Monday, 5 July 2021 Transitional Restrictions Announced.

All Members.

The government has announced transitional restrictions from 12:01am Tuesday 6th July 2021 to 12:01am Monday 12th July 2021.

The following is a summary of the changes that will be adopted by the Rossmoyne Bowling Club effective 12:01am Tuesday 6th July 2021 (tomorrow).

  1. The bar will return to the advertised winter trading hours
  2. Masks to be warn inside the Club but not required on bowling greens  
  3. Social distancing within the Club is 2 square meters
  4. Bar area will be restricted to 120 people
  5. Main hall will be restricted to 100 people
  6. The bowling greens will be open for roll-ups and club events
  7. All scheduled bowling events can re-commence
    • Tuesday and Thursday scroungers
    • Men’s Wednesday triples
    • Friday Jackpot pairs
    • Saturday nominated pairs
  8. All hall bookings can re-commence, subject to the 3rd party coordinators
    • Probus
    • Zumba
  9. Friday 9th July – RBC “Christmas in July” function is still on
  10. Sunday social bowls, catering and jackpot raffles is happening (more details later)
  11. Scan the QR code or complete the manual Contact Tracing register when entering the Club
  12. The Club will resume the daily cleaning regime

Friday, 2 July 2021 Restrictions Eased.

The Government has announced revised restrictions, following the current lock down that ends midnight Friday 2nd July 2021 (tonight).

Following is a summary of the changes that will be adopted by the Rossmoyne Bowling Club effective 12:01am Saturday 3rd July 2021 until midnight Monday 5th July 2021.

  1. The Club will be open
  2. The bar will open from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday ONLY
  3. Members and visitors to be seated to consume alcohol, inside the Club
  4. Social distancing within the Club is 4 square meters
  5. Bar area will be restricted to 20 people
  6. Main hall will be restricted to 20 people
  7. The bowling greens will be open for roll-ups BUT no planned games
  8. Face masks to be worn in the Club and on the bowling greens
  9. Saturday 3rd July – Nominated Pairs – CANCELLED
  10. Sunday 4th July – Social Bowls – CANCELLED
  11. Sunday 4th July – Catering – CANCELLED
  12. Monday 5th July – Monday maintenance crew, yes, with above restrictions
  13. Scan the QR code or complete the manual Contact Tracing register when entering the Club
  14. The Club will resume the daily cleaning regime

Monday, 28 June 2021 Lock Down – Club Closed

Due to an outbreak of COVID1-19, the State Government has announced that the Perth and Peel regions will enter a full lock down from 12:01am on Tuesday, 29 June 2021. Initially this will be for a period of four days until 12:01am on Saturday, 3 July 2021 while the situation is assessed.

As a result, the following changes will apply to the Rossmoyne Bowling Club:

  1. The Club house, including the bar, will be closed.
  2. The greens are closed.
  3. School coaching is cancelled.
  4. The following bowling events have been cancelled:
    • Tuesday Scroungers
    • Wednesday Men’s Triples
    • Thursday Scroungers
    • Friday Jackpot Pairs
    • Friday night raffles
  5. Hall bookings (Zumba, Line Dancing etc) cancelled.
  6. The Club will NOT be accepting any old newspapers, until the Club is re-opened.

Sunday, 27 June 2021 New Restrictions in Place

Members
The Government has announced new restrictions for the Perth and Peel region, effective Sunday 27th June.
 As a result, the following changes will be adopted / implemented by the Rossmoyne Bowling Club effective Sunday 27th June 2021 from 12pm (today).

 The Club will be open today with the following restrictions:

  • Social distancing within the Club returns to 2 SQM
  • Bar area 60 people
  • Main hall 60 people
  • Face masks are to be worn while inside the Club. NOT required outside but members must maintain social distancing
  • AFL and State of Origin will be available but reminder of the social distancing requirements
  • Catering (roast night) will be available but remember your personal hygiene and utilise the hand sanitizers provided
  • Reminder to scan using the ‘SafeWA’ app or complete the manual Contract Tracing register, when entering the Club.

Friday, 7 May 2021 COVID Restrictions Eased

The Government has announced a lifting of the COVID restrictions as of 12:01am Saturday 8th May 2021.
Therefore, effective Saturday 8th May 2021 (tomorrow) the Rossmoyne Bowling Club returns to a new normal:

  • Masks are no longer required to be worn inside and outside.
  • Members and visitors continue to utilize the ‘SafeWA’ app or complete the manual Contact Tracing register, when entering the Club
  • The Club returns to a licensed capacity of 350 people and a hall capacity of 180 people
  • The Club will continue to maintain the daily cleaning regime

Sunday, 2 May 2021 Face Masks now required both indoors and outdoors

Due to a further community outbreak of COVID-19 the WA Government has advised that face masks must now be worn both indoors and outdoors.
Currently there is no intention to impose a general lock down.

Club Changes

The following changes will be implemented by the Rossmoyne Bowling Club effective Sunday 2nd May 2021.

  1. The Club and bowling greens are open to all members and visitors
  2. All members and visitors must:
    1. Wear face masks while inside the Club and outside, including bowling.
    2. Utilize the ‘SafeWA’ app to scan the QR code or complete the manual Contact Tracing register, when entering the Club
  3. 2 SQM social distancing within the Club
  4. Bar area 120 people
  5. Main hall 100 people 
  6. Winter bowling events as scheduled:
    1. Sun 2nd May         “Roast Night” RBC Catering returns @ 5pm
    2. Tues 4th May         Mixed Scroungers @ 7pm
    3. Wed 5th May         Men’s Triples @ 1pm
    4. Thurs 6th May       Mixed Scroungers @ 10am
    5. Fri 7th May           Jackpot Pairs @ 1:30pm
                                   Sponsors and Raffle Night @ 5pm
    6. Sat 8th May & Sun 9th May – Hosting State Mixed Pairs 
  1. Functions booked for the main hall can proceed
  2. The Club will continue to maintain the daily cleaning regime

The Government has announced a further lifting of the existing restrictions post the lockdown that ends 12:01am Saturday 1st May 2021.
Following is a summary of the changes that will be adopted / implemented by the Rossmoyne Bowling Club effective Saturday 1st May 2021 (tomorrow):

  1. The Club and bowling greens are open to all members and visitors
  2. All members and visitors must:
    1. Wear face masks while inside the Club.  NOT required outside.
    2. Utilize the ‘SafeWA’ app to scan the QR code or complete the manual Contact Tracing register, when entering the Club
  3. Social distancing within the Club returns to 2 SQM
    1. Bar area 120 people
    2. Main hall 100 people
  4. Members and visitors to be seated to consume alcohol, inside the Club. 
  5. Winter bowling events return as scheduled
    1. Sat 1st May – Presidents / Life Members / Closing Day – ‘pop stick draw @ 1pm
    2. Sun 2nd May – “Roast Night” RBC Catering returns @ 5pm
    3. Tues 4th May – Mixed Scroungers @ 7pm
    4. Wed 5th May – Men’s Triples @ 1pm
    5. Thurs 6th May – Mixed Scroungers @ 10am

Monday, 26 April 2021:      Post Lockdown Restrictions

 All Members

The Government has announced a number of restrictions post the lockdown that ends 12:01am Tuesday 27th April 2021 (tomorrow).
Following is a summary of the changes that will be adopted / implemented by the Rossmoyne Bowling Club effective Tuesday 27th April 2021.

  1. The Club and bowling greens will reopen to members and visitors
  2. All members and visitors must:
    1. Wear face masks in the Club and on the bowling greens at all times
    2. Utilize the ‘SafeWA’ app to scan the QR code or complete the manual Contact Tracing register when entering the Club
  3. Social distancing within Club increased to 4 square meters
  4. Bar area will be restricted to 20 people (excludes bar staff)
  5. Main hall will be restricted to 20 people (excludes bar staff)
  6. Members and visitors must be seated to consume alcohol.
  7. Tuesday 27th April – Scroungers CANCELLED
  8. Wednesday 28th April – Men’s triples, as scheduled, BUT players will need to utilize the bar, main hall and outside seating during and after the game
  9. Thursday 29th April – Mixed scroungers, as scheduled
  10. Friday 30th April – Jackpot pairs, as scheduled, BUT players will need to utilize the bar, main hall and outside seating during and after the game
  11. Friday 30th April PM – Social raffle events CANCELLED
  12. Saturday 1st May – President’s, Life Members and Closing Day, as scheduled, but subject to any further Government announcements.  No change to catering for Life members but BBQ subject to any announcements.
  13. Functions scheduled for the main hall will be restricted to 20 people
  14. The Club will maintain the daily cleaning regime
