Wednesday, 27 April 2022 – Further Reduction of Covid Restrictions

 As a result of the government announcement today, the remaining COVID restrictions, that applied to the Rossmoyne Bowling Club will be removed, effective Friday 29th April 2022.

  1. Masks are no longer required to be worn
  1. The 2SQM rule removed and return to the approved Club capacity of 350 people
  • Bar area – 170 people
  • Main hall – 180 people
  1. Proof of vaccination no longer required to enter the Club or utilize the Club’s greens

Thursday, 14 April 2022 – Reduced Covid Restrictions

As a result of the government announcement made on 13th April, the only remaining COVID restrictions
that apply to the Rossmoyne Bowling Club, effective Thursday 14th April 2022, will be:

  1. Social distancing within the Club remains at 2 SQM (equivalent to 180 people)
    • Bar area – 80 people
    • Main hall – 100 people
  2. Masks MUST be worn inside the Club and while purchasing drinks, unless drinking or eating
  3. Contact register / QR Code scanning NO longer required
  4. ALL people entering the Club (bowlers and visitors) must be fully vaccinated and show their ‘proof of vaccination’ certificate
    • RBC members can show their green membership card

Consider your fellow members, and if feeling unwell, stay home.

Saturday, 19 February 2022 – Level 1 Capacity Limits Applied

All Members

The government announced yesterday Level 1 public health and social measures regarding capacity limits.

As a result, the following changes will be implemented by the Rossmoyne Bowling Club effective Monday 21st February 2022:

Social distancing within the Club returns to 2 SQM (180 people)
Bar area – 80 people
Number of tables / chairs will be reduced

After pennants / events, the hall and outside area to be utilised
Main hall – 100 people

Masks MUST be worn inside the Club, unless drinking or eating

ALL people entering the Club (bowlers and visitors) must be fully vaccinated and show their ‘proof of vaccination’ certificate
RBC members can show green membership card

Members and visitors to use the ‘ServicesWA’ app to scan QR code OR complete the manual Contact Tracing register, when entering the Club

Catering, on Sundays, will be available but remember your personal hygiene and utilise the hand sanitisers provided

Please assist the Club, and consider your fellow members, in supporting the revised restrictions and, if feeling unwell, stay home.

Monday, 31 January 2022 – Licensed Premises – Proof of Vaccination.

The State Government has announced, that effective Monday 31st January 2022  everyone, 16 years of age and over, attending licensed premises must show proof of being double COVID vaccinated.

The Rossmoyne Bowling Club is a licensed premise, and our license includes the bowling greens. 

Below is a summary of the processes that have been implemented at the Rossmoyne Bowling Club (RBC) to ensure compliance: 

  • All members and visitors to show their ‘proof of vaccination’ certificate when entering the Club and/or to use the greens
  • Electronically via ServicesWA or Medicare app (with ID)
  • Printed copy, with additional ID, ie. Driver’s licence, Medicare card or passport 
  • ‘Immunisation History Statement’ signed by a medical practitioner showing COVID vaccinations
  • Medical Exemption letter signed by a medical practitioner
  • RBC members will be issued a new ‘green’ membership card, only after sighting a ‘proof of vaccination’ certificate (delivery due this week)
  • The ‘green’ membership card is a valid ‘proof of vaccination’ at RBC Only
  • Other bowling clubs will require the government approved ‘proof of vaccination’ certificates
  • Vaccinated non-RBC members to be issued a coloured wrist band for pennants, Club events and hall hires
  • Any person, attempting to enter the Club and unable to show ‘proof of vaccination’ will be asked to leave the Club
  • Any abuse or refusal to provide ‘proof of vaccination’ will be reported to a member of the RBC Executive / Management Committee / COVID Committee
  • If the person does not abide by the direction to leave the Club the police, may be contacted, for assistance
  • RBC bar staff will only serve RBC members with a ‘green’ membership card, people wearing a coloured wrist band or by showing ‘proof of vaccination’
  • During peak periods, COVID marshals will assist with the verifying of ‘proof of vaccination’ certificates

RBC bar staff and Management Committee members, may request, to sight the ‘green’ membership card or ‘proof of vaccination’ on non-event days.

Remember – masks are required to be worn inside the Club.

Sunday, 16 January 2022 – Mask Mandate Reimposed.

Following today’s COVID update from the government, effective from 6pm Sunday 16th January 2022, all members, staff and visitors to the Rossmoyne Bowling Club must: Wear face masks while inside the Club.
Masks are not required while outside or bowling.
Utilize the ‘ServicesWA’ app to scan the Club’s QR code or complete the manual Contact Tracing register, when entering the Club.

Friday, 7 January 2022 – Mask Requirements Eased

Following today’s COVID update from the government, effective from 6pm Friday 7th January 2022 (today) masks are no longer required to be worn inside the Club.

The Club requests that all staff, members, and visitors continue to utilize the ‘SafeWA’ app to scan the Club’s QR code or complete the manual Contact Tracing register, when entering the Club.

Please assist the Club, and your fellow members, by supporting the social measures and, if feeling unwell, stay home and consider getting tested.

Just a reminder, the following COVID social measures remain in place until 6pm Friday 7th January 2022.

  1. All members, staff and visitors must:
    • Wear face masks while inside the Club
    • Masks are not required while outside or bowling

  1. The Club will continue to maintain the daily cleaning regime.
  1. Patrons to utilize the hand sanitizers when entering the Club.

Monday, 27 December 2021 – Mask Requirements Extended

Members:

A reminder that the mask requirements have been extended and that the Perth and Peel regions will continue with targeted public health and social measures until 6:00am, Tuesday 4 January, 2022.

These requirements include:

  • Masks mandatory for indoor public venues, including in the workplace and on public transport.
  • Seated food and beverage consumption only for all licensed venues and events.

Thursday, 23 December 2021 – New Mask Rules in Place

All Members 

As a result of today’s announcement from the Government, the following change will be implemented by the Rossmoyne Bowling Club effective from 6pm 23rd December (today) until 6am 28th December 2021.

  1. All members, staff and visitors must:
    • Wear face masks while inside the Club
    • Masks are not required while outside or bowling
    • Utilize the ‘SafeWA’ app to scan the QR code or complete the manual Contact Tracing register, when entering the Club
  1. The Club will continue to maintain the daily cleaning regime.
